HDS | Heartbeat Detection Systems
The MICROSEARCH HUMAN PRESENCE DETECTION SYSTEM detects heartbeats in stowaways with magnetic-seismic sensors, which are attached to a vehicle or cargo hold. With its patented technology, the system is widely used all over the world to counter human trafficking and to detect smuggled persons in trucks and other vehicles.
Furthermore, the system is completely passive and therefore safe for humans. In order to exclude false alarms, the system automatically mitigates surrounding ground vibrations with special ground sensors.
Depending on the different applications of the MICROSEARCH HUMAN PRESENCE DETECTION SYSTEM a flexible configuration is available to offer a suitable match for each scenario. This is the reason the system is available in four configuration categories; a Wired Configuration, Wirelesss Configuration (also possible to mix the two), Standoff Configuration and Portable Mobile Handheld System.
These configurations have been developed in the field and are the result of continuous adaptation to operational environments and user needs.

Wired Human Presence Detection Systems
Permanently or semi permanently deployed systems using vehicle attached magnetic seismic sensors. These solutions are commonly integrated into fixed vehicle screening checkpoints, such as uniGATE screening environments, where controlled inspection workflows and high inspection reliability are required.
Wireless Human Presence Detection Systems
Contactless vehicle sensor solutions that do not require direct attachment to the vehicle being inspected. These systems reduce officer exposure during inspections, lower the physical footprint at the checkpoint, and support safer operation in dynamic or high risk environments.
Standoff Human Presence Detection Systems
Touch free detection systems designed to identify concealed human presence without physical contact with the vehicle. These systems support enhanced operator safety and portability, making them suitable for locations where direct sensor attachment is not practical or desirable.
Portable Handheld Human Presence Detection Systems
Compact, handheld detection devices designed for rapid deployment and mobile operations. These systems enable officers to conduct inspections at traffic stops, weigh stations, parking areas, or ad hoc control points where speed, mobility, and minimal preparation are required.
