The uniXSCAN Thruvision 8116 is a high performance passive terahertz people screening camera designed for real time detection of concealed items on moving individuals. It is optimized for WalkTHRU Plus operations and engineered to detect smaller concealed objects while maintaining high passenger throughput.
Operating at 250 GHz using a passive 16 channel terahertz sensor, the system detects both metallic and non-metallic materials including liquids, electronics, tobacco, foodstuffs, paper, plastics, and weapons. It provides real time visualization of the size, shape, and location of concealed items without physical contact or pat down procedures.
The 8116 is deployed as a fully integrated screening platform including the camera, operator station with touchscreen and processing unit, mobile stand configuration, support for SmartSCREEN and DynamicDETECT software, and optional battery operation for high flow indoor security environments.
