MSS

MSS is a mobile screening solution designed as a fully integrated and autonomous security checkpoint. It combines people screening, baggage screening, video surveillance, alarm management, and optional detection technologies within a single vehicle platform. The system is intended for rapid deployment in environments where fixed screening infrastructure is not available, not practical, or needs to be deployed on demand.

Unlike single purpose mobile scanners, MSS functions as a complete mobile checkpoint. It integrates walk through metal detection, X ray baggage screening, operator workstations, video monitoring, and centralized alarm handling into one coordinated system. All screening components are designed to operate together as a unified workflow, allowing security teams to conduct structured inspections in temporary or changing locations.

MSS is designed for autonomous operation. Integrated power supply, stabilization systems, and mobile certified security components allow the system to operate independently of local infrastructure. The vehicle based platform enables rapid relocation and redeployment while maintaining consistent screening quality and operational control.

The MSS concept supports modular configuration. Depending on operational requirements, additional technologies such as liquid explosive detection, trace detection, document and passport readers, or biometric functions can be integrated into the screening workflow.

Operational Capability Overview

Purpose, Application, and Risk Environment

Purpose: MSS systems are deployed to establish a fully functional security checkpoint in mobile or temporary environments. They are used where controlled screening of people and baggage is required without constructing permanent infrastructure, while maintaining consistent

Application Environments: MSS is suitable for event security, border and customs operations, VVIP protection, military screening, temporary checkpoints, critical infrastructure protection, and rapid response deployments where screening capability must be established quickly and reliably.

Operational Risk Context: Temporary screening locations often face limited space, time pressure, and inconsistent inspection processes. Manual or partially equipped setups increase the risk of missed threats and operational delays. MSS provides a standardized checkpoint structure that improves inspection consistency, situational awareness, and response capability.

Technical Overview

TECHNOLOGY CLASSES WITHIN MSS MOBILE SCREENING

Mobile screening solutions in the MSS category generally fall into several functional technology classes. These classes describe the system concept rather than individual components:

Integrated Mobile Checkpoint Systems

Vehicle based platforms that combine multiple screening technologies into a single, coordinated checkpoint with defined workflows for people and baggage inspection.

Autonomous Mobile Screening Platforms

Mobile systems designed to operate independently of local infrastructure, including onboard power supply, stabilization, and environmental control.

Network Enabled Mobile Security Units

Mobile screening solutions equipped for centralized monitoring, alarm management, data handling, and optional remote access or integration with command and control environments.
